Brake Servicing
Your brakes are very important when it comes to vehicle control and handling, which is why it’s critical that you keep your brake system in good working order. Typically, vehicle manufacturers recommend that you have your brakes checked every 10,000 miles. For recommendations specific to your car or truck you can check in your owner’s manual.
Brake pads and brake rotors are classified as wear items, which is why brake fluids, pads, shoes and rotors should be regularly checked. If you notice any of the following when you apply the brakes:
- Squealing or grinding noises
- Brake pedal feels soft or hard
- Car pulls in either direction
Or you notice that your car needs brake fluid added or that there’s brake fluid around your wheel, please contact your local IN & OUT TIRE to discuss your brake servicing or repairs with one of our knowledgeable staff.
